Derivation Muir: named after the farm which is to the right of this hole.
Description The long narrow Green, protected by bunkers on either side, means the drive must finish in the middle of the Fairway because the second shot is too far for most to hit and hold the Green. This is particularly difficult from the medal Tee since then the hole is a dog-leg right, but even from the “Yellows”, pushing the drive right will be doubly penalised because of a line of trees which blocks the line to the Green.
