Derivation Peesweep: the name of a bird which used to be common on this part of the Course.
Description The drive on this, the first of three Par 5’s, has to keep to the right of the trees which line the left of the Fairway all the way to the Green, but a bunker 200 yards out traps those who go too far right. The Green is at the foot of a short slope and the third shot (or extremely long second) has to be dead straight if you try to run the ball on to the Green since otherwise you will get a kick to one of the bunkers on either side of the Green.
