Derivation Road: refers to the road which is only 5 yards to the right of the tee and runs parallel to the length of the hole.
Description Many choose to use an iron off the Tee to hit the narrow landing area, avoiding the road on the right and the heavy rough on the left. This leaves a short iron to the Green between the two bunkers guarding it, but is a blind shot to the top of a 15 ft rise in the Fairway. Those who feel confident can go left to carry the rough and land on a plateau which is on the same level as the Green, but go too far and you have to negotiate the bunker on the left of the narrow green.
